Kyabje Choden Rinpoche Said of Geshe Norbu: 

And just like Geshe Ngawang Norbu, who is really learned. in terms of his knowledge, Rinpoche feels Geshe Norbu's knowledge about the Dharma is extremely good. So if you have any interest in learning the Introduction to the Middle Path, especially the subject matter of emptiness, Geshe Norbu has really mastered [the subject of emptiness].
